Dear Amazing Women!
When you live knowing you are surrounded by the love, support and protection of angels, you can be at peace even when in potentially frightening situations.
One morning when opening my bedroom door, the rest of my apartment smelled as if there was an electrical fire in it. I raced into the kitchen where the circuit box is located and determined that was where the stench was coming from. I immediately called the front desk. No one answered and a recording asked me to leave a message. Thinking this was something that had to be attended to promptly, I dressed and went downstairs to the office. I reported the situation and said I thought someone should come up to my apartment right away. One and one half hours later a maintenance man came up, opened the box and told me water had gotten into it. Now, even I know water and electricity do not mix. He closed the box, telling me he would investigate the source of the leak. A short time later, two young women showed up at my door and announced they were the electricians here to check out the problem. The electricians opened the box and told me—yes, it was wet inside. They also said a plumber had been called in to find the leak. As they were leaving, I said, “I am glad they are taking this seriously.” One of the electricians replied, “I think they are taking it seriously because we told them they had to.”
All day I waited for someone to let me know what they had found to be the cause of the leak and what they were going to do about it. The smell was still emanating from the box. No one came or called me. Just before I knew they would be leaving for the day, I went downstairs to the office and spoke with the manager of the building. She said she would send up the head of maintenance to talk to me. An hour later he arrived and told me not to worry about it—the smell was not from my box. He said the leak was in the apartment below me and that is where the smell was coming from. Of course, this made no sense, but that was his definitive answer. He left, telling me I had nothing to worry about.
That night as I prepared to go to bed, I thought to myself—There could be a fire in this apartment tonight. I put all the things by the door that I would want to take if I had to escape quickly. Then I got into bed and asked myself—How am I going to sleep with this on my mind? It was then that I talked to the angels. I said, “Angels, I need your protection. If there is a fire, will you wake me in time to get out of the apartment safely?” I instantly felt at peace and went to sleep immediately, knowing I was in no danger. Angels were surrounding me and would wake me—I had no doubt.
Namaste,
Leslie

You were specific in your dialogue with the angels. Asking them to help you do what you needed to do to be safe in the event of a fire. Thank you for the formula for peace: communicate, have faith and trust...
The Breaker Box is a goodie. Frustration and powerlessness followed by acceptance and surrender. Trust in Allah but tie your camel - 😉
